An interesting game forA.Lobos (6-2) which hosted in their close opponent Salvadorenos (5-2). Third ranked A.Lobos had an easy win 93-59 . It was a key game for the second position in the league. A.Lobos outrebounded Salvadorenos 49-29 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. A.Lobos players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Salvadorenos ' players. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American center Marc Montavious (202-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Alexander Colocho (-1999) who added 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four A.Lobos players scored in double figures. Gerardo Medrano responded with 6 points and 9 rebounds and Marco Rodriguez scored 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. A.Lobos have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Salvadorenos at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost.
